After All
After a very long lay off, I'm very glad to be back. There's quite a lot to tell... Firstly, I'm very fortunate to still be alive, I survived a near fatal motor car accident (if it weren't for God's grace) during my recess with only a crushed toe, oh yes I did, Thank God! Secondly, I obviously didn't go to the World Cup anymore, although I'd bought some tickets. I just couldn't make it, both time and other circumstances wouldn't allow me to... I was so disappointed I almost burnt my tickets, but I just decided to keep them as my World Cup memorabilia, I really enjoyed watching on the telly. Finally, it's back to school again for the second semester. I didn't do too well last semester -academic wise, but I'm satisfied given the prevailing conditions then. I'll just keep rolling.

I'm lovin' IT
Halfway into the semester now... School going well, modules getting a bit tougher then ever before I should admit... I think they are trying to sieve our group, I have no intention of quitting at any stage of course. "If you won't go all the way, why go at all.." I had to turn down a bursary as well, because of terms of contract that would bind me in the near future from going the right way... and who said "a beg-er don't choose"? Well, maybe not.. He he. Meanwhile, it's almost just 50 days to the World Cup, the over-the-counter ticket sales have started. I need to get my tickets soon, before all the matches I could really watch get sold out. Thank you Lord, I need more of You!!

Ready to Go!!
2010 has started. My 'holiday' is nearly over... I am ready and raring to go. I am looking forward to another even bigger and better, fantastic year ("2010!" sounds Big - scary!). Have great plans for this year, they are to go to the FIFA World Cup just here in neighbouring South Africa (I'll be kicking myself for the rest of my life if I don't go); do even better in school this year; 'make money' and what else have I left out? Drink less coke perhaps.. I'll be 20 this year, my days as a teenager are all but gone though I still look and act like one. Keep going till Jesus comes, I guess. So help me God.

Woldcup trophy comes to Windhoek
The real FIFA Worldcup trophy has been on a tour to all African nations and yesterday was Namibia's turn to see the greatest trophy, gold plated. I was fortunate enough to have got a ticket (from my friend Eric) to go and see it in person and have a picture taken with it. What a moment it was, opportunity of a lifetime... never ever had I imagined that I will come within an inch to the same trophy that was lifted by great footballers like Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer, Ronaldo, Zidane.... Well it did happen. compliments to probably the greatest company on earth Coca Cola, who made it possible. We even watched a spectacular 3D movie. It was just incredible... here's a few snapshots from UN Plaza..
